Precautions before starting and stopping the generator set

In order to ensure the reliable and stable operation of the generator, it is necessary to do the necessary preparatory work in advance, that is, to carry out a series of checks, measurements and tests on the generator and system. Now let's understand the specific content of the preparation work.

(1) Check in detail the cleanliness of each part and its surroundings, whether the relevant equipment and instruments are in good condition, whether the short route and grounding wire are removed, and whether the maintenance personnel have left the site.

(2) Check whether the oil level of the booster transformer and factory transformer is normal, whether the butterfly valve of the radiator and the oil inlet and outlet valve of the oil cooler are fully open, and whether the oil level and operating mechanism of the main circuit breaker are normal.

(3) Pass filtered and dried compressed air into the generator, keep the pressure in the frame up to 0.3MPa, and check the tightness of the generator waterway under the static state of the rotor.

(4) Check whether the filtration equipment is in good condition and whether the water conductivity, hardness and pH value meet the requirements before water intake.

(5) Check the bearing lubricating oil circuit and high pressure jacking equipment. When the oil pressure is greater than 15MPa, the jacking height is greater than 0.04mm.

(6) Open the exhaust valve on the stator manifold water pipe, start the cooling water pump, open the inlet valve on the stator winding, close the exhaust valve on the manifold water pipe when the exhaust valve overflows, and maintain the stator inlet pressure of 0.2 ~ 0.5MPa.

When all the above preparation items are completed and passed, the user can officially start the generator.
