First, diesel generator turbocharger replacement steps

1. Generator rental engine cleaning and replacement of filter element. Put off the dirty oil, add 70% diesel oil and 30% oil into the engine, start the engine and run for 3 ~ 5min to clean the engine and oil channel, and then put off. Add the right amount of oil, run 5 ~ 10min after the release. Replace the oil filter element and air filter element, and then filter and add clean lubricating oil to the full scale of the oil scale, so as to ensure that the engine oil and oil channels are clean and clean.

2. Generator rental check turbocharger. Check whether the new turbocharger model is compatible with the engine. Rotate the turbocharger rotor by hand should run freely. If the impeller retards or has the feeling of rubbing the shell, it should be found out the reason before installation.

3. Generator rental Check whether there are sundries in the inlet pipe of the compressor and the exhaust pipe of the turbine front engine to prevent sundries from damaging the impeller.

4. Generator rental check supercharger inlet oil pipe and return oil pipe. The supercharger inlet and return oil pipe should be clean, and the inlet and return oil pipe should not be twisted and blocked. If the supercharger inlet and return port uses a sealing gasket, check whether the gasket has corrosion, deformation phenomenon, gasket can not block the inlet and return port.

5. Generator rental pre-lubricated supercharger. The supercharger is installed on the engine, temporarily do not access the oil pipe, first from the supercharger inlet to the supercharger into the clean oil, and rotate the rotor by hand, so that the supercharger bearing is full of lubricating oil and then connected to the oil pipe.

6. Generator rental test run. Start the diesel engine, the oil inlet of the supercharger within 3 ~ 4s must show the oil pressure to prevent the damage of the supercharger bearing system due to the lack of lubricating oil. Run for 2min, check whether the rotor rotates smoothly without noise, and then stop to observe whether the rotor can run smoothly by inertia, normally about half a minute before stopping.

7. When the engine is running under load, the oil pressure must be between 196 and 392kPa to be safe. When the engine is running at idle speed, the oil pressure should not be less than 70kPa.

8. The exhaust back pressure behind the turbine and the pressure drop of the air filter shall not exceed 4.9kPa. The air filter element shall be avoided from moisture, because moisture filter element will significantly increase the pressure drop.

2. The wrong behavior of operating the generator

1. Diesel generator stop without idle cooling, will make the friction surface of insufficient oil, when the diesel engine will start again due to poor lubrication and aggravated wear. Therefore, the diesel generator should be unloaded before flameout, and gradually reduce the speed, no-load operation for a few minutes.

2. After cold start without heating machine with load running diesel generator cooling machine start, due to the oil viscosity, poor flow, is insufficient oil supply, machine friction surface due to lack of oil lubrication, resulting in rapid wear, and even the occurrence of cylinder, burning tile failure.

3. The diesel engine violently blasts the throttle after cold start. If it violently blasts the throttle, the speed of the diesel generator will rise sharply, which will cause some friction surfaces on the machine to produce dry friction and severe wear.

4. When blasting the throttle, the piston, connecting rod and crankshaft accept the force change, cause violent impact, easy to damage the parts.

Therefore, the diesel engine should run at idle speed after cooling and heating up, and then run with load when the oil temperature reaches more than 40℃; The machine should start with a low speed gear, and drive for a certain distance in each gear step by step, until the oil temperature is normal and the oil supply is sufficient, it can turn to normal running.
