2. Ensure that there is an adequate level of coolant inspection

Diesel set, check oil level and oil/water separator. Add condensate from the separator. Check fuel lines for leaks or visible damage. Check for corrosion, damage, or terminals. Check and clean corrosive batteries.

3. In addition to monthly inspection; The coolant thermal protection level is also checked every six months. Use the appropriate type of use, at the same time, check the driving belt tension condition.

Replacement of engine oil and filter is required for annual maintenance of backup generator sets. Replace the air filter, fuel filter.

4. Two commonly neglected parts need to be checked or replaced once a year: the generator itself and the transfer switch:

Daily technical maintenance

(e) In the equipment room with dusty environment, clean the air filter after a long time of operation.

(f) Clean oil and water marks of electrical equipment before and after operation, and check whether the joints are firm.

(g) Before operation, check whether the conveyor belt is good, whether the belt joint is firm, and whether the tightness is appropriate.

(h) Check the amount of oil in the diesel tank before and after long-term operation, and check whether all parts of the fuel system and tubing joints are in good condition.
