1. Turn off the engine and let it cool. Open the hood of the engine and find the generator belt in front of the engine.

2. Press the belt between pulleys to check its tension. If you press more than 1/2 inch, the belt is loose.

3. Check the oil or grease pollution of weichai generator belt, and turn the belt to check whether there are cracks, rubber blocks missing and slipping in the inner layer.

4. Loosen the adjustment bolt of weichai generator and adjust the pivot bolt.

5. Loosen the belt by moving the generator inward.
