1.The diesel engine runs when the oil is low

At this time, due to insufficient oil supply, the surface of each friction pair will be insufficient, resulting in abnormal wear or burns. To this end, the diesel generator before starting and diesel engine operation process to ensure sufficient oil, to prevent the lack of oil caused by cylinder pulling, burning tile failure.

2. After cold start, the machine is operated with load without heating

When the diesel generator cooler starts, due to the high viscosity and poor fluidity of the oil, the oil supply of the oil pump is insufficient, and the friction surface of the machine is badly lubricated due to lack of oil, resulting in sharp wear and tear, and even the failure of cylinder pulling and tile burning. Therefore, the diesel engine cooling start should idle operation heating up, until the oil temperature reaches more than 40℃ (in winter use, such as cooling water degree reaches 60℃) when the load operation; The machine should start at low speed gear, and run in each gear step by step for a period of time, until the oil temperature is normal, oil supply is sufficient, before it can turn to normal work.

3. Stop with load or stop immediately after unloading load suddenly

Diesel generator flout after the cooling water circulation stops, cooling capacity sharply reduced, heated parts lose cooling, easy to cause overheating cylinder head, cylinder liner, cylinder block and other parts, crack, or excessive expansion of the piston stuck in the cylinder liner. On the other hand, diesel generator shutdown without idle cooling, will make the friction surface oil shortage, when the diesel engine will start again due to poor lubrication and aggravating wear. Therefore, the diesel generator should be unloaded before flaring out, and gradually reduce the speed, no-load operation for a few minutes (no-load operation for 3 minutes is required).

4. The diesel engine is cold started and then throttles violently

If the throttle is slammed, the diesel generator speed increases sharply, which will cause some friction surfaces on the machine to be severely worn by dry friction. In addition, when the throttle piston, connecting rod and crankshaft acceptance force changes greatly, causing violent impact, easy to damage parts.

5. Overspeed or overload of the machine

When the unit is in serious overspeed and overloading, the diesel engine will run under the working condition of excessive load and high speed, which is easy to cause rough work. The thermal load and mechanical load of cylinder liner, piston and connecting rod are increased, and the faults of cylinder pulling and burning tile are easy to occur. If the diesel engine often overload operation, will cause a long time of rough combustion in the cylinder, easy to damage the cylinder gasket.

6. Add cooling water when the temperature of diesel engine is too high

If the diesel engine in the case of water shortage and overheating suddenly add cooling water, will make the cylinder head, cylinder liner and cylinder body due to hot and cold drastic changes and crack. Therefore, when the temperature of the diesel engine is too high, the load should be removed first, and the speed should be slightly increased. After the water temperature drops, the diesel engine will be flameout, and then the water radiator cover is loosened to remove the water vapor. If necessary, slowly inject cooling water into the water radiator.
