National Development and Reform Commission: Temporary Transmission Price Adjustment for Shaanbei Hubei and Yazhong Jiangxi UHVDC Projects

According to the Pricing Measures for Transmission Prices of Special Projects Across Provinces and Regions (Development and Reform Price Regulations [2021] No. 1455), after research, the National Development and Reform Commission has made adjustments to the temporary transmission prices of ± 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current projects from Shaanxi to Hubei and from Yazhong to Jiangxi.

The temporary transmission price for the ± 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current project in northern Shaanxi to Hubei is 5.12 cents per kilowatt hour (including tax and transmission line loss, with a line loss rate of 5%).

The temporary transmission price for the ± 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current project from Yazhong to Jiangxi is 6.85 cents per kilowatt hour (including tax and transmission line loss, with a line loss rate of 6%).

After the Shaanxi Hubei ± 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current project and the Yazhong Jiangxi ± 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current project meet the cost supervision conditions, the official transmission price will be determined based on the cost supervision.

According to the "Pricing Measures for Transmission Prices of Special Projects Across Provinces and Regions" (Development and Reform Price Regulations [2021] No. 1455), after research, the following notice is hereby issued regarding the temporary transmission prices of ± 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current projects in Shaanbei Hubei and Yazhong Jiangxi:

1、 The temporary transmission price for the ± 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current project in northern Shaanxi to Hubei is 5.12 cents per kilowatt hour (including tax and transmission line loss, with a line loss rate of 5%).

2、 The temporary transmission price for the ± 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current project from Yazhong to Jiangxi is 6.85 cents per kilowatt hour (including tax and transmission line loss, with a line loss rate of 6%).

3、 After the Shaanxi Hubei ± 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current project and the Yazhong Jiangxi ± 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current project meet the cost supervision conditions, the official transmission price will be determined based on the cost supervision.

4、 This notice shall come into effect from the date of issuance. During the period from grid connection to the execution of this notice, the electricity transmission shall be settled at the temporary transmission price mentioned above.
