Correct starting method of diesel generator set

1. Stop more than 24 hours, must open the test valve, and start the lubricating oil pump, long stop (generally seven days) of the generator. The exciter should measure the insulation resistance of the motor and operating loop to meet the requirements.

2. Start the fuel pump and release the air in the pipeline. The oil pressure should be within the prescribed range before it can be officially started.

3. After checking whether the voltage of the starting power supply is normal, press the "start" button and release it when the diesel engine is on fire. When the lubricating oil pressure rises above the specified value, stop starting the oil pump. Close the scavenger pump drain valve and wear the front clutch pin.

4. Can not start, should carefully determine the reason, the reason is unknown, should not start again. The continuous starting shall not exceed three times, and the interval shall not be less than 2 minutes. If it fails to start for the third time, it should be carefully analyzed and checked, and allowed to start for the fourth time after the fault is confirmed and rectified.

5. After starting the diesel generator set, it is considered that the generator and all electrical equipment have been charged, and human contact with the charged part is strictly prohibited. If live work is required, the hazardous work approval system and electrical safety operation procedures should be followed.

6. When adjusting the speed of the diesel engine, attention should be paid to whether the generator is running normally, and the carbon brush on the slip ring and rectifier should have no beating. No spark phenomenon, no abnormal sound, in addition to cooperate with electricians. Adjust the frequency and voltage to approximate the rating.

7. When receiving the signal of "ready and parallel", the operation of the generator must be normal and smooth. And achieve the same frequency, the same voltage, the same phase, the same phase sequence can be carried out in parallel work.

8. During normal operation, it is strictly prohibited to use the fault stop switch or button, and it is strictly prohibited to wipe the unit, such as when the overspeed insurance device of the diesel engine is found to be detached. The electrician should be informed to unload the load. After stopping, the overspeed insurance should be put back in place before starting again.

9. Pay close attention to the operation of various operating instruments, protection devices, insulation monitoring and governor.

10. For the gas tank started with compressed air, should check the test pressure gauge and safety valve, whether to keep sensitive and reliable.
