1. When removing the DC control fuse, take the positive electrode first, then take the negative electrode. When installing the DC control fuse, the negative electrode should be installed first, then the positive electrode. The purpose of this is to prevent the formation of parasitic loops to avoid the misoperation of the protective device. The fuse should be installed and removed quickly, and should not be continuously switched on and disconnected. There should be a period of time between the removal and reinstallation (should not be less than 5s).

2. When the protection device in operation needs to stop the DC power supply, stop the protection outlet connector first, and then stop the DC circuit. Restore in reverse order.

3. Bus differential protection, failure protection when the DC fuse is stopped, the outlet connecting piece should be stopped first. After the DC circuit is added, it is necessary to check whether the whole device works normally. If necessary, the outlet connection sheet is added after the high internal resistance voltmeter is used to measure the voltage at both ends of the outlet connection sheet.

4. When the circuit breaker is powered off, the control fuse of the circuit breaker should be removed after the switch is opened and safety measures are taken (grounding wire or insulation cover is installed). Because if the circuit breaker is not disconnected, resulting in a load pull isolation switch, the circuit breaker protection can operate in trip. If the fuse is removed before the isolation switch is pulled, the accident can be amplified by the failure of the circuit breaker to trip.

5. When the circuit breaker is powered on, the control fuse of the circuit breaker should be installed before the safety measures are removed. This is because after the control fuse is installed on the generator set, the protection device and the control loop can be checked whether the working state is intact. If there are problems, they can be dealt with before the safety measures are removed. In addition, the protection device is in the ready working state.

In the event of an accident due to the circuit breaker during subsequent operations, the protection circuit can be operated to trip. If the control fuse is installed after closing the isolation switch, in case the circuit breaker is not disconnected and the load closure isolation switch, so that the circuit breaker can not trip and expand the accident.
