1. Failure of the valve mechanism and the intake and exhaust system leads to failure of the specified power

Cause: The clearance between inlet and exhaust valves and rocker arm is incorrect; Incorrect timing of gas distribution; Valve spring damage; Valve with carbon sealing surface leakage; Air filter is blocked; Exhaust pipe and muffler carbon accumulation is serious, exhaust is not smooth.

Treatment method: check and adjust to the specified gap; Check and readjust valve timing; Replace the valve spring; Remove carbon accumulation and grind valve; Cleaning air filter; Remove carbon deposits.

Reason: there is leakage at the close of the cylinder cover and the body, which is manifested in a flow of air rushed out from the gasket when changing speed, and the cylinder cover nut is loose; Cylinder cover gasket damaged. The piston ring is stuck, the valve rod is not flexible, the cylinder head injector hole leaks, the copper washer of the injector tight cap is damaged, and the injector hole plane is not cleaned; The joint surface of the injector and the injector body is leaking.

3. The water temperature is too high and can not produce the prescribed power

Cause: Diesel engine overheating (cooling or lubrication system failure).

Treatment method: Overhaul the cooling and lubrication system, remove the scale in the water jacket, and clean the oil cooler.

4. The oil supply is not normal, and the fuel system fails to produce the prescribed power

Cause: fuel system air intake; Fuel injection pump failure; The fuel injector is faulty.

Treatment method: Release the air in the fuel system as mentioned above; Repair or replace the coupling parts; Repair or replace fuel injector coupling. In a nutshell, when the diesel generator set cannot produce the specified power, the intake and injection volume can be checked first to determine whether the compression pressure is large enough. In general, 12h power or continuous power is used as the calibration power of diesel engine supporting the generator. When 12h power is selected to represent the calibrated power, it means that the continuous operation time of the diesel engine under the calibrated power (under standard environmental conditions) is 12h, including 1h continuous operation under the condition of more than 10% of the calibrated power. When continuous power is selected as the calibration power, it means that the diesel engine is allowed to run continuously for a long time, including running more than 10% of the calibration power for 1h.
