In a diesel generator set, the initiator is a part of the diesel generator starting system, and its function is to ensure the normal production of the generator set. Then what should we pay attention to when using the initiator to start the generator set?

1. The continuous working time of each start of diesel generator set should not exceed 10 seconds, and the interval time between two starts should be more than 2 minutes to prevent the armature coil from overheating and burning out. If the device fails to be successfully launched for three times, find out the reason and try again.

2. When the driving gear is heard to rotate at high speed and cannot engage with the gear ring, the launch button should be released quickly. After the starting machine stops working, the second launch should be carried out to prevent the damage caused by the collision between the driving gear and the flywheel gear ring.

3. When using generator sets for power supply in cold areas, antifreeze oil should be used; When starting, use the "-" long handle screwdriver to pull the flywheel tooth ring at the flywheel inspection hole and damage each other.

4. After the generator is launched, the launch button should be released quickly to make the driving gear return to its original position.

5. It is forbidden to press the launch button again in the normal operation of the oil generator set.

6. Grease should be added regularly in the front and back cover bushing of the starter to prevent dry conflict from damaging the shaft and bushing.
