The reason of diesel generator speed instability

1, idle speed is not stable, mainly caused by the governor fault. The main reasons for this are as follows.

(4) Low pressure oil supply is not smooth or contains water and air

Two, generator drying

The newly installed synchronous generator should generally be dried before operation. If the insulation resistance meets the requirements, drying can be avoided, but the load should not exceed 50% of the rated capacity in the first 24 hours of operation.

When the operating generator stops for maintenance or stops for longer than the specified limit and the insulation resistance is lower than the specified value, it must be dried. If it is determined that the surface is damp, you can use the load drying method to dry. Generators that are soaked by water or steam pipe leaks must be dried.
