Due to the number of bearing additional equipment, the oscillation is naturally difficult to control. The unit works for a long time, fatigue, aging and other messy factors cause the increase of bearing oscillation, and the brush will be followed by a stir, which will make the brush column uneven conflict, the lead and spring loose, and the local sparking will gradually further affect the overall situation.
The pressure is not uniform or does not meet the requirements also briefly cause the brush sparks. Generally, the brush pressure is required to be adjusted to a low voltage that does not generate sparks, and the pressure between each brush should be even. The pressure of diesel generator set will be uneven if it is assumed that the brush resistance is too short or the brush is stuck in the brush frame during the long working time. In addition, due to the mechanical, spring itself by heat soft and other factors caused by the pressure does not meet the theoretical requirements of the brush does not produce sparks. In addition, when we press and pull the carbon brush, sometimes we rely on feeling, without experience, and the operation fault is very big.
In practice, if one or two brushes do not exert their power due to mechanical reasons such as stuck and insufficient spring pressure, in order to adhere to the normal load, the current through other brushes will increase. In the brush with increasing flow, it is assumed that there is a brush with friction deviation. Because the contact area with the slip ring decreases, the flow density on the contact surface increases. The heat is proportional to the square of the current, the accumulated heat can not be distributed out, the temperature rises sharply, the brush and slip ring contact surface will produce sparks. After the generation of other sparks, the working environment of the brush is more severe, and then the vicious circle makes the spark of the brush more serious. When this situation is serious, the ring fire will be generated.
