Welding of radiators is usually done by welding. Before welding, wipe the oil from the welding station and scrape off the new metal layer with a scraper. Next, heat the soldering iron and dip it into the zinc oxide solution. Reattach to solder. After gluing, the weld is flattened and the zinc oxide around the weld is cleaned with hot water to prevent corrosion.

1. Welding and repair of upper and lower water cavity

When the upper and lower water chambers are not broken, they can be repaired directly with solder. If the damage is large, use copper brazing. When welding, apply a layer of solder to the sides and allow the copper to leak. Place the skin over the leak, then heat it with a soldering iron to melt the solder and weld it.

2. Radiator pipe welding repair

If the external water pipe of the heat sink is broken and not broken, use needle-nose pliers to tear off the heat sink near the water pipe and repair it directly with solder. If the break is large or the intermediate pipe leaks, it should be specific. The situation is flexible by means of clamping, blocking, taking over and replacing tubes. However, the number of pipes and blocking pipes should not exceed 10% of the total number of pipes, so as not to affect the heat dissipation effect of the radiator.

Repair method of radiator

1. Stuck pipe: when the external pipe of the radiator is broken or leaked on the back of the water pipe, clamping welding can be adopted. The method is: tear off the radiator near the water leakage pipe, cut off the water leakage pipe welded to the lower end of the water pipe and the water chamber near the water pipe.

2. Bay filling pipe: the outer pipe has a big fracture. If it cannot be repaired by welding, it can be repaired by pipe repair. When the pipe is filled, coat the sides with a thin solder layer and select the thin copper for leakage. Hold the thin copper skin close to the leak and solder the edges with a hot iron.

3, replace the pipe: remove the upper and lower water chamber and broken water pipe, and shape the interior. Use a copper flat strip (slightly smaller in cross section than the pipe hole, slightly longer than the pipe) and heat it to a deep red to insert into the broken pipe. To remove the pipe from the heat sink, clamp the pipe end and the copper strip with pliers, pull it out along the heat sink, then insert the copper strip into the new pipe, put the pipe back into the radiator, and extract the copper. Strip and weld the ends of the new water pipe and the upper and lower water chambers. If the middle pipe of the radiator leaks, heat treat it with a torch flame, remove the upper and lower water chambers, and break both ends of the leaky pipe. After welding, weld the upper and lower water chamber again.
