Perkins diesel generator code of operation

For the safe and reliable operation of the diesel generator set, the following points must be done during use.

First, diesel generator set before starting the inspection:

1. Check whether battery wiring is correct;

2, check whether the load line wiring is correct;

3. Check whether the oil and cooling water are at the specified liquid level;

4, check whether the fuel is connected;

5, check the air switch status (must be in the off position).

Two, boot, shutdown steps:

1. Switch the power supply switch on the control panel of the diesel engine side box to on position;

2, start the diesel engine, check whether the electrical instrument or controller is normal, whether the unit has abnormal sound;

3, the diesel engine idling operation for a period of time (water temperature close to 40℃ or so) after rising to a stable speed;

4. Check whether the unit voltage and frequency are correct;

5, pay attention to the working status lamp and oil pressure, water temperature is normal, whether the unit has abnormal sound;

6, if each state of the unit is normal, the power supply can be closed;

7, before stopping, load must be removed and then divided, and then the diesel engine speed to idle;

8. If the unit has been running for a long time, press the stop button after running for about 3 minutes, so that the unit has enough cooling time.

Three, notes:

1. The grade of oil used is not lower than CD40;

2, if the unit is not used for a long time, the battery power line should be disconnected;

3. If the ambient temperature is below 5℃, the cooling water should be drained or antifreeze should be added to the cooling water after shutdown;

4. Check the status of each system frequently during the operation of the unit. It is recommended to record the parameters of each instrument every hour.

5, the unit just shut down, do not open the water tank cover, otherwise the cooling water will spray and cause burns.
